EAA shortlisted for top industry award

Luxembourg, 24 September 2019 - European Air Ambulance (EAA) is in the running for a top industry award.
EAA - one of Europe’s largest specialised aeromedical service providers, offering cost-effective worldwide emergency repatriation 24/7/365 - has been shortlisted for the International Travel Insurance Journal (ITIJ) Air Ambulance Company of the Year award.
The EAA team are hoping to replicate their success of 2016, when they beat two other finalists to take top spot and be named Air Ambulance Provider of the Year.
The ITIJ Awards are respected across the global travel and health insurance industry as a marker of excellence and innovation, rewarding companies that go above and beyond to serve customers and clients and drive positive change in the industry.
Patrick Schomaker, Director of Sales and Marketing at EAA, said: “We have worked tirelessly over the past 12 months to continue to improve and upgrade our services.
“We are steadily expanding our fleet to meet demand; we have opened up our unique aeromedical training facility to external companies and agencies; we have continued to develop our neonatal and paediatric equipment and staffing services; and all as part of our ongoing commitment to patient care, ground-breaking innovation and ongoing investment.

The winner will be announced at the International Travel Insurance Conference (ITIC) Finale Dinner in Malta on October 31st.
