European Air Ambulance produced a new hard-cover book aimed at our smallest and most important patients.

Luxembourg, 15 September 2016 - European Air Ambulance is delighted to be among the finalists for the ITIJ (International Travel & Health Insurance Journal) Air Ambulance Provider of the Year Award.

EAA is on a shortlist of four air ambulance providers for the annual award, which ITIJ says rewards “companies that have truly excelled over the previous 12 months.” The Air Ambulance Provider of the Year Award is sponsored by UC San Diego Health.

The ITIJ Industry Awards this year take place at a gala dinner on 3 November at The Ritz-Carlton Berlin. The dinner is the climax to the International Travel & Health Insurance Conference (ITIC). The ceremony, hosted by Ian Cameron, ITIJ Editor-in-Chief and ITIC Chairman, and Sarah Watson, ITIJ Editor, will be streamed live via the ITIJ website.

European Air Ambulance’s Director of Sales & Marketing, Patrick Schomaker, says the company would like to thank everyone who voted for EAA to make it into the final four. “We take this as a sign of the trust our clients put in our company,” he says.

The honour is reward for the strides EAA has made this year in implementing and developing its specialist services, including its Infectious disease module and introducing a specialist heavy weight patient transport service. EAA has also put stock in improving its paediatric service and even launched a book for children that helps put young patients at ease. And, of course, EAA also opened its state of the art headquarters at Luxembourg airport, featuring offices and hangar facilities as well as a training centre and the capability to be a first responder medical centre for Luxembourg and the greater region.
